As the Executive Director of GLIDA (formerly Fortum Charge & Drive India), he champions the cause through strategic policy advocacy and comprehensive awareness endevours. With unwavering dedication, Mr. Jha actively engages with diverse stakeholders, including governmental bodies, policymakers, utility providers, transit authorities, non-profit organizations, trade associations, public health advocates, and eMobility task forces. His collaborative efforts extend to regional and national organizations, charger providers, auto manufacturers, and multicultural early EV adopters, auto enthusiasts, and student communities. Through his multifaceted approach, Mr. Jha has played a pivotal role in significantly expanding the market share of next-generation, zero emission electric vehicles across the nation.

Anil KaushikHead, e-Bus Charging & Infrastructure
Anil Kaushik, joined GLIDA team in July’2023 as Head (e-Bus Charging & Infrastructure.
He is responsible for development and operations of GLIDA’s charging network and is also looking after the e-Bus vertical. Electrical Engineering (Hons.) Graduate, with more than 31 years of professional experience in various domains of electrical engineering, he has been actively working in the e-Mobility domain for more than 6 years.
Prior to joining us, he worked for NTPC Limited for three decades and was leading its e-Mobility team for over 5 years. He has been instrumental in identification and implementation of e-Bus projects in Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Bengaluru city involving 130 Nos. e-buses. In addition to it, he has been responsible for formulation of specifications for zero emission (e-Bus and Hydrogen Fuel Cell based) EVs for India’s widely ranging environmental conditions.
He has expertise in the areas of design & engineering of EHV, MV and LV electrical systems including the equipment sizing and specification formulation for thermal power plants of approximately 10,000 MW capacity including MW scale solar plants. In addition to this, he has experience in maintenance of HT and LT Switchgears, EHV, HT and LT Transformers, Protections of Electrical Equipments (Generators, Transformers, Switchyards, Transmission Lines) and DC Systems.
Deepak Paliwal General Manager, Network Growth & Corporate Development
Mr. Deepak Paliwal is the General Manager – Network Growth & Corporate Development, GLIDA
Deepak, a Growth Strategy Specialist, has played an instrumental role in helping GLIDA expand its public charging network. He brings a diverse experience of more than 18 years to his organization where he is responsible for steering Network Growth & Corporate Development through building business partnerships with diverse sectors including but not limited to Real Estate, PSU’s, Commercial, Retail, etc. to establish a strong & connected public EV charging eco-system keeping end-consumers convenience in mind.
Deepak worked for NTPC Limited before joining GLIDA, spearheading the erection of nuclear power plants and overseeing the operation and maintenance of NTPC’s gas and coal-based power plants.
He’s passionate for the cause of establishing electric mobility into mainstream and that reflects into his day-to-day working. He has been working tirelessly in the e-Mobility sector for more than 5 years now to realise GLIDA’s vision that “One day, every second PEV (Passenger Electric Vehicle) user shall be charging their car at Fortum charging station at the same price as that at their Home with assured safety & convenience.”
Deepak is a Mechanical Engineer by qualification & holds a global exposure of best practices followed by Nordic countries Finland, Norway, Sweden and Netherlands where he did a close study of EV ecosystem & is working to put his knowledge to give a push to the adoption of electric vehicles by masses in India based on our country & its user-specific needs.
Ankit Maheshwari General Manager, Customer Experience & Journey
Ankit Maheshwari is General Manager, of Customer Experience & Journey where he spearheads partnerships, alliances, customer acquisition, and strategy for the electric vehicle (EV) charging business. His extensive background and expertise provide the foundation for driving customer experience and journey initiatives, ensuring the successful integration and expansion of GLIDA’s EV infrastructure. /p>
He is a seasoned professional with 19 years of diverse experience across sectors including e-mobility, Solar, Storage, Logistics, and advisory in both India and Singapore. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, and an MBA in Supply Chain & Logistics from SP Jain School of Global Management.
Ankit’s leadership and innovative approach are instrumental in shaping GLIDA’s customer journey, enhancing service delivery, and expanding the company’s reach in the rapidly evolving electric mobility segment.
LS Anirudh Nataraj, Manager Charging & Customer Experience – Tech, GLIDA
LS Anirudh Nataraj wears multiple hats at GLIDA as a Manager – Charging & Customer Experience, Tech vertical. With a deep and extensive understanding of the electric vehicle space, his role is crucial in expanding GLIDA’s reach and ensuring the smooth operation of its charging infrastructure.
Before joining GLIDA, Anirudh worked with Ather Energy, VoltAsset Ventures and other reputed brands where he gained experience in relationship building, business-to-business (B2B) sales, charging systems, start-ups, networking, government relations, key account management, customer experience.
Anirudh holds an MBA in Marketing & Operations from Amity Global Business School, Chennai, and a BBA from Kumararani Meena Muthiah College of Arts & Science, Chennai.
