You can find a GLIDA charging station by -
Using the GLIDA App - The app provides real-time locations and availability of nearby charging stations.
- Open the GLIDA App - Start by launching the GLIDA app on your smartphone. Ensure you're logged in to access all features.
- Enable Location Services - Allow the app to access your location to automatically show nearby charging stations.
- Go on List, Search and Filter Stations - Use the search bar or browse the interactive map to locate charging stations. You can filter by connector type (CCS, Type 2, or DC001) to find the most compatible stations for your EV.
- View Station Details - Tap on any GLIDA charging station on the map to see real-time discoverability, including availability, connector types, and pricing.
- Navigate to the Station - Once you’ve selected a station, click on "Navigate" to get step-by-step directions using your preferred navigation app (Google Maps, Apple Maps, etc.) integrated with GLIDA.
Navigation Systems - Many in-car navigation systems like MG Connect and third-party apps like Google Maps, and Statiq app, shall help discover EV charging stations of GLIDA.
How to Navigate GLIDA Chargers on the Statiq App -
- Download and Open the Statiq App Ensure the Statiq app is installed on your smartphone. Open the app and log in with your credentials or sign up if you’re a new user.
- Allow Location Access - Enable location services on your device to allow the app to detect your current location and show nearby charging stations.
- Search for GLIDA Chargers - On the home screen, use the search bar to type "GLIDA" or browse the map to locate GLIDA charging stations. The app will display GLIDA chargers in your vicinity.
- Filter by Connector Type - Use the filter option to select the specific connector type (CCS, Type 2, or DC001) that your vehicle supports. This will narrow down the search to only show compatible GLIDA chargers.
- View Charging Station Details - Tap on a GLIDA charger to view detailed information, including charger availability, pricing, and supported connectors.
- Navigate to the Charging Station Once you've selected a GLIDA charger, click on the "Navigate" or "Get Directions" button. The app will integrate with your preferred navigation app (Google Maps, Apple Maps, etc.) to guide you to the selected charging station.
- Start Charging - Upon arrival, follow the instructions on the Statiq app to start your charging session. Make sure to connect your EV to the correct charging point.
- Monitor Your Session - Use the app to monitor your charging progress in real-time. The app will display details like the amount of energy consumed and the cost incurred.
- End the Charging Session - Once your vehicle is charged, follow the on-screen prompts to stop the charging session. Disconnect your vehicle and complete the process as instructed by the app.
- Payment and Invoicing - Make the payment through the app’s secure payment gateway. You’ll receive a digital receipt and can review your charging history within the app.

To register on the GLIDA App
- Download the App - From the App Store or Google Play.
- Create an Account - Provide necessary details like email, phone number
- Verification - Complete the verification process through OTP via SMS/email.
- Setup Payment Method - Conveniently locate charging stations and make secure payments with ease.
- Comprehensive Support - Select your preferred payment method for seamless transactions.
GLIDA has shifted to prepaid from 2023 onwards. To make a payment through the GLIDA App, you can pay through More Settings>Payment Methods on the GLIDA App
- Select the Charger - On the GLIDA App Home Page, Choose the charger/connector of choice from Map/List.
- Select the Connector - Select the Available charging connector near the EV parking.
- Payment Options - Chose any of the below options to Pre-pay for starting the charging transaction.
- GLIDA Prepaid Card - The co-branded card, once ordered and verified through applicable KYC, will be shown as an option to pay to those verified customers.
- GLIDA Money - The GLIDA Money option is for selected bulk/fleet customers only. Individual PEV owners will see a balance in this only in case of any voucher purchase, scheme credits, etc.
- Pay-As-you-Go - Use convenient options like UPI, Credit/ debit Card, Net Banking, and other options as per the Payment Service Provider.
- The money collected is float money, retained only until the charging session is completed. Post charging session completion, the balance of money collected, if any, shall be refunded to the source account, from which it was paid. We do not put money in the wallet (closed loop); hence you will not find money collected, there. Post refund initiation, an SMS will be auto issued to your registered mobile number with a Refund number and a tentative timeline for credit to the source account.
- Connect Charger Connector to EV - Connect the Charging gun to the EV, after following the pre-requisites like handbrake on, EV lock, etc. Ensure that the gun is properly inserted in the EV.
- Start Charging Session - Start charging session through the App
- End Charging Session - Once charging is complete, the app will calculate the charging cost and balance money, if any, will be refunded.
- Charging invoice - Post charging, users can find the charging invoice in the Charging Tab > Completed, which can be downloaded/referenced for older sessions also. Do select the relevant time period of charging with the help of date filter.
Yes, the GLIDA App provides full control and visibility of your payment history. You can go to Home Page > Charging > Select Completed: Access detailed records of all charging sessions and payments made after selecting the DATE FILTER.
- Select the charging point in the app
- For payment, click on ‘Pay as You Go’ option
- Proceed to make the payment
- After successful payment insert the gun into your electric vehicle
- To ‘START’ swipe the RFID on the charger’s RFID reader
- Once charged press ‘STOP’ on Charger Screen
- Swipe the RFID again on the RFID reader to end the charging session
- Remove the gun and place it back in the charger holster

- Scan the QR code of connector to select.
- Alternatively navigate to applicable location and select the charging point in the App.
- Click on Pay as you Go.
- Make the payment
- After successful payment, insert the gun into your electric vehicle
- Press Start Charging
- Once your EV is charged, press Stop Charging in the Application to stop the session
- Remove the GUN and place it back in the holster

- Mention the time duration you wish to charge your vehicle
- Make payment
- Insert the GUN into the vehicle
- Press Stop Charging to stop the session

- Stop the Charging Session - Ensure that the charging session is stopped using the app or the charger’s interface.
- Gently Try to Release - Try to gently remove the charging gun. Sometimes, a little extra push and pull can release it. However, please exercise caution of overdoing it, ensuring NO damage to charging gun

When to Press It
- ONLY if there is a fire.
- ONLY if you notice sparks or smoke.
- ONLY if there is an electrical short circuit.
- ONLY if any other dangerous situation arises that poses an immediate risk.
Important Note
Please refrain from pressing the emergency button unless it’s a real emergency. Misusing the button can cause the charger to go offline, creating unnecessary hassle for the next user. Instead, simply press ‘stop’ either through the app or RFID to finish your charging session.
If the emergency button is accidentally pressed, make sure to release it by rotating it clockwise. This will ensure the charger remains available for other EV drivers and prevents potential technical issues.
- Credit/Debit Cards - Secure payment using Visa, MasterCard, or other major cards.
- UPI - Use the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) for quick and secure payments.
- Net Banking - Pay directly from your bank account using net banking options.
