“I just want to charge my EV. Why do I need to download and register on an app for that?” — a common complaint.

Returning users often forget their login credentials, especially those who avoided saving passwords due to privacy or security concerns. Some had as many as 10 different apps, with 10 forgotten passwords. What should have been a simple, quick charging experience became a point of friction.

So we built a solution: GLIDA Charge-Thru.

How GLIDA Charge-Thru Works

Find a GLIDA Charger: Locate a GLIDA charging station (formerly Fortum Charge & Drive India) and look for the QR code on the charger.

Scan & Start: Scan the QR code with your phone. A web link opens — no app or RFID needed.

Enter Details: Select your charging duration, enter your email and phone number, and verify via OTP.

Make Payment: Pay securely using UPI, credit/debit card, or net banking. Press Charging to begin.

Relax While Charging: Go about your day while your EV charges.
